Microsoft 365 Copilot Agents
Copilot is only as useful as the agents that guide it. Out of the box, Microsoft 365 Copilot is a generalist - capable, but unaware of your processes, your sources, and the specific work your people do every day. For a narrow, high-stakes task, a generalist is exactly the wrong tool: it improvises where you need consistency, and it reaches for the open web where you need an authoritative source.
A well-built agent closes that gap. It encodes a fixed method, points Copilot at the right sources, and turns a workflow that used to need an expert prompter into a single conversation starter that anyone can use.
What we build
We design and build declarative agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot across the full spectrum of complexity:
- Focused agents - single-purpose assistants that encode one process and ground Copilot in a curated set of sources. No backend, no data access, no license beyond the Microsoft 365 you already have. Fast to deploy, easy to govern.
- Grounded agents - agents connected to your own SharePoint content, so Copilot reasons over your documents, policies, and knowledge instead of generic answers - within your existing permissions.
- Data-connected agents - agents backed by your own MCP server and Azure Functions, able to not just read but act: update a register, log evidence, drive a stateful workflow. This is where a Copilot agent stops being a smarter search box and becomes a system of record's front end.
How we approach it
Every agent we build inherits the same baseline as the rest of our work: it runs inside your tenant, scoped to least-privilege access, grounded in sources you control. Where an agent needs to reach your data, we design for the narrowest permission that does the job - not the broadest one that's convenient. The agent's job is to keep work inside your environment, not to become another place your data leaks out of.
That stance matters most precisely where Copilot agents are most tempting to misuse: the sensitive, regulated, expert work where people otherwise paste internal documents into public chatbots. A purpose-built agent gives that work a sanctioned home.
We've done this ourselves
We didn't arrive at this from a slide deck. We built a free Copilot agent, took it through the full Microsoft certification pipeline, and published it to Microsoft Marketplace - the first product of its kind from our catalog. We know what the manifest, the attestation, the value-bar review, and the publishing process actually demand, because we've been through every step.
When we advise you on a Copilot agent, the advice comes from someone who has shipped one.
